  6. Control Panel V4.21 is a major upgrade to V3 and a bug fix for V4.0b
  7. It is the same as CP4.2 except that the installer scripts have been modified.

  9. This version allows the user to

  11. Start/Stop AmiTCP
  12. Connect/Disconnect from the net
  13. Change Users
  14. Automatically run programs at a set time
  15.  
  16. Run the following types of programs -
  17.  
  18. Mail, News, FTP, WWW, Gopher, IRC, Archie, Telnet, Finger, Ping, Traceroute, UUXT, Dearchivers and
  19. a Newsgroup editor.
  20.  
  21. These programs can be started by just clicking on a button, using the menus or using the hotkeys.
  22. For any program which has not got a gui interface and needs user input i.e. Ping, Traceroute etc., I
  23. have included a GUI front end for these programs.
  24.  
  25. Their is also a total of 2 user defineable buttons and 3 other user defineable menus choices, as well
  26. as menus for changing to pre-defined users and also for using multiple POP's.

  28. A status window, shows various details such as user name, real name, date, time, and how long
  29. connected (only works with slip device, sorry PPP users). A log file (uuspool:cp.log) is created
  30. recording details of every connection.

  32. This package is shareware, but the fee is only 5 UK pounds.

  34. The registered version can save the log file in NComm format to allow the use of phone bill
  35. analysers.
